The Tiger Woods case may be getting complicated.
Tiger Woods' car accident on early Friday morning may be far more complicated than initial reports. According to a new story by TMZ, many of the injuries on the pro golfer's face were not the result of the accident; rather, they were inflicted by wife Elin during a fight. This information was reportedly received through a conversation Tiger had with someone on Friday.
The fight allegedly began when Elin accused Tiger of having an affair, and it ultimately escalated to the point where she scratched up his face. Tiger then tried to retreat for his SUV, which Elin started to hit with a golf club.
This new story would potentially explain why Tiger, mostly perceived as a hard-working family man, would be in his car at 2:30 in the morning. However, there is still some investigating that needs to be done before we find out exactly how much of this report is true. The golfer was taken to the hospital on Friday but quickly released with only minor injuries after he smashed his car between a fire hydrant and a tree.
