Michael Phelps seems to have a thing for California beauty queens.

Phelps ex girlfriend, Nicole Johnson was crowned Miss California USA 2010 this weekend.  Phelps and Johnson broke off their relationship when she found out that he was cheating on her with Carrie Prejean Miss California USA 2009.

According to Perez Hilton, sources revealed exclusively to Hilton that "Nicole Johnson dated Michael Phelps for a year during 2007 - 2008.  The main reason they ended their relationship is because Carrie Prejean started dating Michael and bragging about it while he was still with Nicole".
