23-year-old actress Megan Fox has announced her life purpose, children's charities. The TRANSFORMERS star claimed she has not yet contributed to charity because she believes she is not yet famous enough to make any kind of difference.

Following in the footsteps of charitable celebrities Elissa Sursara (actress, animal rights activist), Hayden Panettierre (actress, animal rights activist) and Fox's idol Angelina Jolie (actress, ambassador), Megan claims she would like to "gain the status that will enable me to be truly and legitimately helpful to people."
I appreciate Megan's thought, but I can't help but wonder if this is all a PR ploy to save her tainted image.
Megan Fox shot to fame after TRANSFORMERS, but lost millions of fans when she made no attempts to disguise is a seemingly smug, bitchy and prestige attitude. Commenting on her own pretty looks and claiming men 'are boys', the actress went on to slam director Michael Bay, claimed she would never play Wonder Woman because Wonder Woman is 'lame' and pushed away her audience. When websites cottoned on to the beautiful, yet "ugly" Fox, articles about the actress turned from gushing and admirable to scathing and tactful, particularly when the actress bit the hand that fed her. After news broke that Fox had bad mouthed Michael Bay, members of the TRANSFORMERS crew believed it was time to set the record straight on the actress, posting a letter on Bay's official website that called the actress fake, stupid, bitchy and ungrateful.
Later, in an interview, Fox attempted damage control claiming the letter 'could have been anyone', even suggesting someone from 'a takeout store' probably wrote it. Seems Fox believed an employee of In and Out had hacked Bay's website just to bug her. Come on Megan, I like you, but we know it was the crew.
Many also questioned Fox genuinely, claiming the actress was manipulative in calling herself a geek, a comic book lover and bisexual - three obvious keys to a large male following.
But in a turn of events (also known as a bitch slapping from her PR agent) Fox has taken a step backward, appearing 'down to earth' in interviews, thankful for TRANSFORMERS and now, charitable.
Not such a bad actor, that Megan Fox.
On a personal note, I believe fake charity is better than no charity at all and I don't doubt that Megan Fox has a heart and would help the needy if told when and where to go, or at least where to send her cheque. But the fact that it's taken 3 major films and a media backlash to provoke her new image bothers me. Megan Fox is beautiful, that cannot be debated, but her personality is quite tainted and becoming more faux by the day.
The actress claims she has contributed to come charities before, but I'm sure dying children would rather your money and your time, rather than being photographed on a charity events red carpet before you bail for your Mr. Chows reservation.
On a side note, one of the world's largest Charity websites, Look To The Stars, has a page dedicated to Megan's charity work. Note; the page is currently empty.

I like Megan Fox too, but I 100% agree with this. I wish she would quit with the a fakeness. I get its a weird pressure in Hollywood but she's so contridictary of herself. Says shes ugly, but then said 'Im clearly not ugly', says she tried to have a fling with a Russian stripper but then said 'casual sex isnt for her', she might be a bisexual, she might be a 'geek', but I agree... everything about her seems so planned and manipulative. I like her, but I do smell a rat.
It's not that Megan is fake. The problem is that most of the people can't see the difference between the real Megan Fox and the persona she plays for the media. The real Megan is completely different from the persona, that's why she seems so contradictary to herself.
I'm a huge fan of Megan's she's plastered on my walls...I'm also a female and have a boyfriend. So she hasn't pushed her fans away...That's crazy talk. She's my hero.

You are forgetting the letter wrote by Anthony Steinhart, production assistant, who clean up his name off all the crap written by the "crew" AND HAD NO COMPLAINS ABOUT HER AT ALL. . Nobody mentions it. Why?
Megan had issues with Michael Bay, she should have said anything. But she was always greatful to the movie. Always said it. She knows why she is where she is. Everybody knows T2 was a crappy movie. But according to Bay no. He is delussional.

I don't doubt that Real Megan's a pretty cool chick who's into gaming and reading awesome comics and such. Real Megan also probably enjoys getting sexed up/having sex with the boyfriend quite a bit (not many people wouldn't).
And yanno what? Real Megan probably *doesn't* enjoy interview after interview, near-naked movie scene after scene. It's her job, it's what she does to make sure she can continue to afford her lip injections. So if she has some pent-up rage towards Mikey, that's understandable.
That said, Real Megan would also probably prefer to curl up and sleep to helping children. But then again, most of us would as well. So let's not judge Megan by impossibly high standards. Gorgeous as she is, she's only human, after all.

Her FIRST mistake was allowing her PR agent to start rumors about her being the next Angelina (thats a no-no), next acting and saying things that Angelina has done or said in the past, next bashing christians and middle class people, then bashing Transformers who made a name for herself, and now she makes a Scream Awards speech to clear up the 'false rumors'???
Megan FAUX is indeed a faker. And although I get why she plays the bi-sexual card, but there is nothing more sickening than seeing 2 gays together. Makes my stomach turn. SO GROSS!!!

quite the contrary she's quite real. and as stated above, human. people read into what she says way too much; and then overblow it, much like this article here. she has always been what she says she is (have you seen her comic book collection & personal drawings, puts mine to shame), however she should probably pick her words more carefully, so they are not taken out of context. She does know how to get attention, but Manipulative? Thats a bit over the top.
Her "personality" is made up BS. She has no "anger". She's lived with her mommy her whole life and was on a comedy tv show for a few years, and never got noticed until TRANSFORMERS. Now she suddenly claims to be "angry, mental, whatever"... obviously fake and trying to be like Angelina Jolie. So stupid.
