Seattle's Pike Place Market is not only home to the original Starbucks store, but it's also a breeding ground for celebrities when they are in town. Whether stars are here to work or play, they make time to stop off at Pike Place Market to enjoy the scenery and take in the Seattle waterfront.
Kate Hudson and New York Yankees star Alex Rodriguez visited Pike Place Market last month when they were in town. They browsed the outdoor shops before sneaking into the original Starbucks for a latte. Afterward, they walked along the cobblestone streets taking in the view and spent some time with "regular" folk before heading back into the heart of the city to continue on their vacation.
Warner Brothers Nashville musician Michelle Branch also spent time at the market while she was in town doing promotional work for her new album, "Everything Comes and Goes". Michelle wrote the following on her Twitter page in September, "Driving to Seattle...long day behind me. Still gotta figure out dinner and squeeze in a trip to the gym. Whatcha all doin'?" Michelle was later spotted at Mama's Mexican Kitchen in Belltown.
"Happy Days" actor Henry Winkler was spotted at Pike Place Market getting into his limo. He stopped to sign autographs and take photos with fans before jumping in and being whisked away.
