Fashion Fights Poverty's benefit fashion show is the climax of FFP's annual fundraising efforts. The purpose of the benefit is to highlight the designs of emerging and established (mainstream and non-mainstream) eco and/or ethical fashion designers and artisans as a way of raising money for our beneficiary and programs.
This year's fifth anniversary celebration was held at the Mayflower Hotel in D.C. and featured the works designers having a multicultural/international history or influence. The show also marked the debut of FFP's inaugural scholarship competition, created for Washington-area high school students.
