Queen of Daytime Oprah Winfrey has confirmed she is leaving her highly rated talk show in September 2011. Looking back its hard to say what are the most pivotal, or memorable moments but here are a couple to choose from.
Who can forget the time Tom Cruise went crazy on Oprah's couch shouting his love for Katie Holmes? That scene has, and will continue to inspire thousands of parodies across the planet for years to come.
Oprah’s 1993 interview with King of Pop Michael Jackson was the fourth most watched event in American television history. and the most watched interview ever, with an audience of one hundred million. Since the tragic death of Michael Jackson most of the videos of the historic interview have been removed, but I did find this one.
An appearance on Oprah's show has also launched careers and earned its guest's "spin offs" like the Dr. Phil, and Dr. Oz shows.
Unlike Dr. Phil... Dr. Oz is a real practicing Doctor!
Another highlight captured on film never took place on Oprah's stage but on Letterman's when the two made up from their reported 16 year feud. Listen as Oprah asks Dave if he knows what their feud was supposed to be about.
