Paris Jackson daughter of the late Pop Icon Michael Jackson wants to record a tribute song for her "Daddy". Paris touched millions of  hearts around the world with her short, but memorable speech at her fathers Star studded memorial. Reports say that Paris was inspired by the tribute performances given during the service by Pop Diva Mariah Carey, and the Legendary Stevie Wonder.

Sources say that Paris shared her interest in recording a song for her father with “Aunt & Pop Star” Janet Jackson. Reportedly the family has not made any plans to help Paris make her recording dreams come true, as they very concerned over Paris being in the public eye.

Could she be following in the footsteps of another famous songstress Natalie Cole?
In 1991 Cole topped the charts with her duet of “Unforgettable” she recorded posthumously with her father the late great Nat King Cole. Through the use of modern technology the Nat King’s original recordings were added to daughter Natalie’s vocals. Both the vocal and video footage were edited seamlessly into one a singular performance. The single “Unforgettable” reached #14 on Billboard Magazine's Hot 100 chart and was rated #10 on the R&B chart, later it went on to become a Gold record.

Cole also recorded 22 other songs from her fathers expansive collection. The compilation including “ Unforgettable” became a huge success selling 7 million copies in the United States. She went on to receive several Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year, Record of the Year, and Best Traditional Pop Vocal Performance.

If little Paris Jackson makes her debut in a tribute to her “Daddy”, she may well exceed the numbers achieved by Cole. Only time will tell if Michael's’ music and dancing ability will live on through his children.

Do you think Paris will get her wish?

Will you buy her song?

PLEASE, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT LET PARIS JACKSON RECORD A SONG YET, OR ANY OF THE THREE CHILDREN!

They are too young to be recording songs and releasing them in the public eye. If ANY of the children record even just one (1) song there is no doubt that they will be thrust into a recording contract like their late father and loose much of their childhood/teenage years - this is exactly NOT what Michael Jackson would have wanted; Michael was trying desperately to deter this kind of behaviour and allow his children to live (as normal as possible) childhoods and teenage years.

Please let the children WAIT until they are at least 18 to make any career influencing decisions.

Paris, if you are reading this I would be so happy. I think the choice about the song is your own decision, but I just wanted to say that this is now the 6th website I've posted a comment on and I think you are very beautiful. I'm a 13 year old boy from Minnesota and if you wish to make me very happy, you can email me at chaplin791q@hotmail.com. Thank you.
