They thanked the city of Los Angeles for always believing in them.

“When in Rome’s” actress Kristen Bell and country singer Jason Aldine presented the award for best country duo to Rascall Flatts . This is the 5th AMA award for the duo who are calling it quits.
Rocker Pete Wentz introduced former American Idol contestant Daughtry, who has sold 6 million albums and seven million singles already in his short career. Sultry Latin singer Shakira performed her new hit “ Give it up to me” in a skin tight dress covered in tiny black mirrored tiles, and knee high boots.
Actress’s Julie Bowen and Sophia Vergara of ABC’s new show "Modern family" introduced country singer Keith Urban. Vergara said “ Un pedasito de amor; which translates a little bit of love” . He sang his latest hit “I wanna kiss a girl”.
Country Superstar Reba McIntire welcomed American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson to the stage. Clarkson sparkled wearing a black and silver mini dress encrusted with crystals. She sang a slower tempo version of her latest hit “Already gone” which has been quickly rising up the charts since it’s release.
Snoop Dog and Aerosmith’s Joe Perry gave the award for "Best Female Artist Pop Rock" to Taylor Swift. Taylor appeared live via satellite from London where she is performing tomorrow.

NY Yankees Alex Rodriguez introduced JayZ and Alicia Keys in a rousing number of New York New York that soon segued into their collaboration of “New York”.
