Today it was announced that actress Brittany Murphy’s death was caused by a caused by a combination of pneumonia, prescription drug use and iron-deficiency anemia. Recently the stars husband Simon Monjack had been blaming Hollywood for her death. Stated Monjack “Hollywood has blood on it’s hands".
The late actress appeared in films such as Clueless, Girl Interrupted, 8 mile, Sin City, and Riding in cars with boys. Sources state in December 2009, that she collapsed in her bathroom. LA paramedics tried to revive her on the scene at her Hollywood home, but soon transported her to the Cedars Sinai Medical Hospital. While at the hospital she suffered a cardiac arrest and was pronounced dead at 10:04 am.
