This award given to King of Pop makes him the biggest winner in AMA History with a total of 23 awards to his name. Said Jackson while still on stage, “ It’s not just about the winnings... the awards its mainly the message. The message that Michael had will live on forever. And that he saw good in everyone, he wanted everyone to do good , and he always started with love . Start with love, and lets love each other. Thank you very much... We’re gonna miss you Michael but you’ll always be in our heart.
Country singer Keith Urban poses with his AMA award for Best Country male artist. After his win he gave a heartfelt speech to his wife Nicole Kidman and their daughter Sunday Rose.
Urban thanked everyone possible including his crew he said “And my wife, I just love you so much baby girl, this is for you and Sunday.”
Green Day band members from left, Mike Dirnt, Billie Joe Armstrong and Tre Cool celebrated their win backstage. This year the band won the AMA for “Alternative Rock Music Favorite Artist”.
Newcomers Gloriana were over the moon with their AMA T Mobile Breakthrough award. Upon receiving it from last years winner Colby Calliet one the the members joked and said to the audience“ How many of you said to your selves “Who’s Glorianna?”
