Colombian singer Shakira arrived at this years American Music Awards red carpet event in a bright yellow mini. Although not nominated this year she created a media frenzy over the video for her new album “She wolf “ due out in 2010.

Anna Nicole Smith’s always "luxurious" designer Bobby Trendy was a stand out on the red carpet tonight. Trendy showed up paying homage to Lady Gaga, sporting a “Ga Ga style” black mask. Bobby told me himself “This outfit was made custom for me, by Tracy Williams!! In Santa Monica!!”

A-list star walking the red carpet was Pop Diva Rihanna looking like a princess in her black and white gown.

Dancing with the Stars hostess Samantha Harris was stunning in a shimmering mini. Other stars walking the carpet were singer Melissa Etheridge , "Stargate" actress Morena Baccarin, and “Insiders List” Julie Moran.
