Sometimes it's difficult to trace the origin of ridiculous rumors. This one is a little more obvious, however.

Several Indianapolis radio stations today opened the phone lines to voters encouraged to state their preference for Evan Bayh's replacement in the US Senate.

Sen. Evan Bayh, a prominent Indiana Democrat, announced today he will not seek a third term in the 2010 midterm elections.

As a result, some Hoosiers have called for new Indiana resident and former "Girl Next Door" Kendra Wilkinson to represent the good people of Indiana in the United States Senate.

Is it possible that Kendra will run for Senate to replace Evan Bayh?

Wilkinson, after all, is a proud resident of Indiana in light of her husband's football career. Baskett plays for the Indianapolis Colts and, as a result, the happy couple presently resides just outside of the state capital.

Ultimately, however, although some fans would love to see the former Playboy Playmate and reality TV star replace Evan Bayh, Kendra Wilkinson is constitutionally ineligible to run for Senate - at least for six more years.

Kendra Wilkinson is only 24-years old. One must have attained the age of 30 in order to be constitutionally eligible to serve in the US Senate.

So Kendra fans take heed. You have plenty of time to plan the Kendra Wilkinson for Senate 2016 campaign.
