After allegedly roughing up his wife, actor Charlie Sheen was arrested yesterday on charges of domestic violence, and, ironically, later released just in time for Boxing Day - a holiday that must have a different meaning for the actor.
The Two and a Half Men star was arrested early Christmas morning for second-degree assault, menacing and criminal mischief.
Sheen was released after posting bond set at $8,500.
Instead of opening presents Friday, Sheen and his wife Brooke Mueller were involved in a domestic disturbance that led to police receiving an emergency 911 call. Authorities were dispatched to 320 West Hallam Street in Aspen, Colorado, where Charlie Sheen was subsequently taken into custody.
At this time, it is not believed that Sheen's wife required medical attention.
Charlie Sheen, who has had no shortage of marital and legal troubles in the past, is set to return to the courtroom February 8th.

LOL Love the comment about Boxing Day. Charlie Sheen in American, this happened in America. Americans don't celebrate and largely don't even know just what Boxing Day means. I'm sure the "holiday" has no different meaning for him....
