Ebay has experienced a surge in items related to Michael Jackson that have been put on sale overnight, following the pop star’s death on Thursday.
Thousands of records, DVDs and other unique items were placed up for auction, including an original signed Fedora hat for sale for ten thousand dollars.
Entrepreneurs seized an opportunity to purchase a host of Michael Jackson related domains that are now offered for tens of thousands of dollars.
Although modestly priced Michael Jackson items are selling rapidly in high volume, the big-ticket items are yet to fly.
Tickets to Jackson's upcoming concerts in London – tickets that will never be used – are also for sale.
