Super Bowl XLIV MPV Drew Brees and son Baylen
Last night's Super Bowl XLIV was jam-packed with great moments, and not necessarily just for sports fans. From the beautiful pre-game performances by Carrie Underwood and Queen Latifah, to the spectacular musical history lesson that was halftime by The Who and Tracy Porter's incredible 74-yard interception return that culminated in the final touchdown of the game's last three minutes, Super Bowl 2010 was a great night of sports entertainment.
No doubt some Tennessee fans were rooting for the Indianapolis Colts, whose quarterback Peyton Manning started his football career at UT Knoxville. Despite Manning and company's valiant efforts right up to the very last few minutes, the night belong to the New Orleans Saints.
With the Saints winning 31-17, it became their first Super Bowl in the team's and the bowl's fourty-three-year histories--both having been founded in 1967, it was New Orleans' quarterback Drew Brees who was named the game's MVP.
Without a doubt, the most touching moment of the night came as cameras captured Super Bowl 2010's MVP Brees as he shared a special moment with his year-old son Baylen. Despite the crowded stadium and numerous television cameras and photographers, you can see in Brees' eyes that in that moment the only two people on that field were him and his infant son. Below are videos from the musical performances as well as that special father/son moment.
Just prior to the game, Queen Latifah belted out a breathtaking performance of America The Beautiful. The video reveals that Latifah was having difficulty with audio feedback, as she removed her in-ear monitor near the beginning of the song. Just after Latifah, Carrie Underwood did Music City proud with her stirring rendition of our National Anthem.
The Who's Pete Townshed and Roger Daltrey switched up the previously announced order of their mega-hits medley during halftime, but rocked the stadium nonetheless. The circular lighted stage provided a stunning visual during their performance.

Ive held many titles and Ive been addressed by many names but the most meaningful thing Ive ever been called is Dad. As the father of two sons, that picture of Drew Brees with his son meant more to me than any game ever played. Brees has my undying gratitude and fathers everywhere have gained an entirely new respect for the guy. God bless him!
He is going to grow up to be such a beautiful little boy! I am sure Brittany and Drew are so happy with him. He is so cute! he looks like Drew!
