Elephant wearable art hits Nashville runway with Impulsion Fashion Show

 On Thursday, March 19, Posh Boutique, 1813 21st Avenue South in the Hillsboro Village area of Nashville, is partnering with local designer, Jeff Garner's Prophetik Clothing: Wearable Philosophy brand of environmentally conscious clothing to present Impulsion 09 Collection, their spring and summer line.

What's all this got to do with elephants you may be asking?  The fashion show is a benefit for the Asian Conservatory Project (AEACP) and will feature the Elephant Collection, a series of garments made from hemp and other earth-friendly fabrics that have been painted by elephants in Thailand.As if wearable elephant art wasn't enough, the fashion show also features celebrity guest model Nicole Cammack, the beautiful young star from the ninth season of the hugely popular co-habitational UK reality series, Big Brother.  Also from across the pond, London dj, DJ Andy, who now resides in Birmingham (Alabama, not England) will provide the beats for the runway show. Rounding out the truly international feel of the event, My Glorious, a three piece rock band from Vienna, Austria will be perform.

Tickets for the event are $25 for VIP,which includes a private cocktail reception at 7:30pm as well as runway seating. General admission tickets are a suggested $5 donation to AEACP. The fashion show begins at 8:00pm.
