Vanessa Hudgens, Alyson Michalka and Gaelan Connell hit the red carpet in Los Angeles to celebrate the premiere of "Bandslam". The Todd Graff-directed movie "Bandslam" premiere was help last night (August 6) at the Mann's Village Theater in Westwood, California.

Speaking about her role in the movie Hudgens was quoted saying, “Sa5m’s very moody and standoffish; kind of the outcast of the crowd. I’ve been playing the sweet, nice girl for a while. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a great character to play, but it’s a lot like me, I really wanted to play a different character. Going out of my comfort zone to play the opposite of me was really exciting to me as an actor. I got to have a lot of fun with it.”
Other "Bandslam" stars at the premiere included Ryan Donowho, Tim Jo and Lisa Kudrow. The band Honor Society and the other member of 78violet, Amanda Michalka who is also Alyson's sister also walked the red carpet.
