This was supposed to be the happiest of times for newly engaged Bachelorette couple Jillian Harris and her fiancé Ed Swiderski but it seems a cheating scandal maybe be tainting it. Two different women, Lindsey Johnson and Bethany Steffen, claim that Swiderski was wooing both of them during filming of The Bachelorette and after his engagement to Harris.
Various reports are surfacing regarding the situation with Swiderski and his multiple women. A source told RadarOnline.com that Swiderski "broke off his relationship with Bethany just a week before he began shooting The Bachelorette, but soon resumed contact with her via texts and emails."
“Ed’s sexy messages to Bethany certainly aren’t of the kind a happily engaged man should be sending," the source said.
“When the episode aired showing Ed as the winner and he and Jillian agreeing to marry, Bethany was stunned,” one of the sources said. “Ed’s sexy messages to Bethany certainly aren’t of the kind a happily engaged man should be sending.”
The sources are also stating that Harris is devastated and their relationship is destroyed, a report Harris firmly denies. Harris told People.com in an interview “I am not destroyed!” Harris continued “There’s a little bit of anxiety that comes with this news, but I am absolutely not destroyed.”
Harris did confirm to Extra that she knows Ed has kept "semi in touch," via text message, with both women. Harris doesn't seem to concerned, saying she will meet Ed in Las Vegas tomorrow and still plans to move to Chicago September 1st to be with him.
"This is a bump in the road, and we'll get through it," Jillian says. "Ed and I are on top of the world right now."
So what do you think? Is this all made up or is Ed a two (or three) - timer?

umm.. didn't she sleep w/ 2 guys during the show herself? In the argument that he was doing it before or during the show.. wasn't she dating many other guys both before and during the show also???

it is a bit fishy....but the whole premise of the show is backwards to begin with so it takes a certain "type" to sign up to begin with. I still like Ed with Jillian! someone has to tame men like Ed! *smile*
Oh Boy another story with no fact base and no sources just a bunch of hearsay you people will never learn. So lets just spread the gossip cause it makes us "feel" good. Won't your mothers be proud.
Now would be a good time for Reid to dust off his super hero cape & swoop in for the save.
Ed, Ed, Ed. Shame on him if these rumors are true. Judging by Jillian's comment about having a 'little bit of anxiety' over this news, I'd say there's some truth to it. I hope they work it out because Jill deserves that much.

Reid has been the real man and real gentleman all along. His reluctance to proclaim his love just reflected how sane the guy is.
I hate to say "I told you so" but I could tell from Ed's "body language" that he had something to hide! The hands-in-the-pocket is always a tell-tale sign of someone who has something to hide. The way Ed would not look in Jillian's eyes when he spoke to her. As well, when Wes said he was going to go home and have tons of sex, Ed laughed (ick!) while Reid and Kiptyn were appauled. Ed is "fluff" and has no integrity, while Reid and Kiptyn are "real men" of substance! Poor Jillian -- she let two wonderful, HONEST, men go and picked a "player". She will only have disappoitnment in her life if she stays with Ed -- mark my words! He will only cause her pain and heartache.
Ed is a loser. All the red flags were there. Bottom line, this "engagement" will be the shortest one on record.
Have to agree that Ed seemed a lot like Wes in my eyes...I was hoping all along that she would choose Jake, Reid or Kiptyn...she had such a huge connection with Kiptyn! But in reality, we all do what our heart leads us to do and I truly hope that Jillian is happy in her decision and in her life....I wish her nothing but happiness as well as ALL of the men!
Drop Ed. Get with Reid. He was the real "catch" of the season!

Jillian is SO in denial if she isn't taking these claims seriously. I heard him interviewed, and he is LYING like a dog about it being false. We all know all along she had no good sense about men from her picks in the show, and no surprise Ed has hosed her over, but man, what an actor this guy is. Give him an oscar!

Jillian f'd Ed, Kiptyn, & Reid on the show (at least). So what if Ed has a little safety tail tucked away. If they are happy together great, if not, who cares. These are all attractive people who will do fine in life. Get off the couch and live your own life to cherish.
I agree with last comment and apologize for my previous comments -- it's none of my business really! Who can blame Ed for having a "safety net" ready in case he wasn't chosen, but he worked very hard to be chosen! If she loves him, so be it! As a Mom, I wouldn't want someone bad-mouthing my son unless they were walking in his shoes. Sorry about that! I hope they have a long and happy life together and lots of babies!

this is stupid. if Ed is cheating on Jillian (which wouldn't shock me at all), then she will probably never realize it, or at least not for a while. I mean hello she's obviously not the brightest bulb in the bunch, she let amazing guys like Michael and Jake go and kept Wes who was such an ass. So if the rumors are true, I don't think we can expect Jillian to realize it for a good six months or so. I will always be rooting for Reid =)

there are so many odd things that ive noticed about this show that make sense to me now. if ed was recruited and got paid by abc and producers and cast as the bachelor with a girl friend originally no wonder he was allowed to come in and out without question asked cell phone laptop....all his castmates said things after the fact all played their part. to create more drama jillian is in it too. we all been fooled shame on us.
I find it hard to trust a man who can't look you in the eyes when he speaks with you...and has a nervous twitch when he professes his love.
some women are glutton for punishment. they will forgive and forgive and forgive because they cant let go. they are stuck in a cycle. It is like a merry go round that they cant get off. Ed is the bachelor with a girl friend and the other one is his sexual partner. HE treated them like a piece of meat. IT IS SO SAD if jillian stay with him she needs therapy or a shrink.
