Jack Rowell Jr. who is known for his "The Thrill at the Grill" is now taking the Thrill to Beale to honor his friend and fellow musician Tony Black or "Tony B" as he was known...
Mitch has been a DJ all his adult life. He got his start in radio right after high school at WMC-FM100 in Memphis. It was the third FM station in the country to switch to a rock format. It wasn't long until he had the opportunity of a lifetime to work for Rock & Roll legend Sam Phillips of Sun Records at his station in Florence, Alabama, WQLT. Mitch took advantage of that and learned a lot about Elvis, Carl Perkins, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Roy Orbison and Sam himself.
Writing is his new passion, he loves writing and showed some of his work to the Co-Editor of the Sun Times in Heber Springs and was invited to write a weekly entertainment column for them in March of this year. Now, five months later it appears in five newspapers in Arkansas.
