Fan of Cougar Town? Here’s an FYI you’ll need to know about: The show has come to a halt due to a ‘family matter’ that Courteney Cox is currently dealing with.
“We can confirm production on Cougar Town has been temporarily shut
down in order for Courteney to deal with a private family matter”
ABC said in a statement on Saturday.The nature of the ‘family matters’ is unknown, as both network rep and her personal publicist declined to reveal any personal information.
The 45-year-old actress is better known for her role as Monica Geller in the TV show Friends that ran for 10 seasons. She married David Arquette in 1999, and had her first child, daughter Coco Riley Arquette in 2004. The child’s godmother is personal friend Jennifer Aniston.
