The cleantech venture capital market is heating up. There are some very nice looking companies doing some wonderful things in clean tech. Some are taking advantage of the global green economy movement and partnering with foreign countries on clean technology ventures. A few on the list have broke ground on some solar projects right here in the United States. This list is based on company management, and capital strength. Many of the cleantech companies that made the list benefited from getting DOE loan guarantees. Solyndra is a good example. This has helped them attract clean energy venture capital.

(Leading solar thermal power company in US). Clean Energy Solutions would be selling eSolar’s newly developed solar power concentrating technology in sub Saharan Africa.
