Lance Armstrong is very busy in Aspen, Colorado getting ready for the Tour de France.

His legs certainly look ready.

So the big question is of course is the seven time TdF champ ready to ride in France?

The person who would most likely best know is his long tome coach Chris Carmichael. In his latest Carmichael Training Systems newsletter Carmichael himself writes:

"I rode with Lance, Levi Leipheimer, Chris Horner, and Simon Gerrans yesterday. Thankfully, it was a recovery ride for them in preparation for the lactate threshold testing we performed earlier today. Lance tested well and there were two big things I was looking for: that he was recovered from the Tour of Italy, and that his power at LT was higher than his test from April 19. The numbers indicated that he is indeed recovered sufficiently from the Tour of Italy – which opens the door to some more race-specific training sessions over the next two weeks – and that his power at LT has gone up a few percentage points."
