Thomas Muther, Senior Partner, Minahan & Muther, P.C. comments on the wrap up of Cory Voorhis' two day reinstatement hearing. Voorhis was persecuted and acquitted on charges of violating database access and disclosure policies of the Department of Homeland Security, while serving as an ICE agent.
We think the case went very well. Cory did an outstanding job testifying today. In putting forward his case, the truth of what was happening for the last three years is finally coming out.
Voorhis did appear steadier, more confident and capable than his supervisors, especially the top man on the food chain, who traveled from Washington, DC to testify Wednesday. Voorhis was able to correct the government attorney on several details of the case and demonstrated an unflappable countenance.
Mr. Muther, who did an excellent job of establishing the foundation of this epic story, had more to say.
It's been our pleasure to represent him (Voorhis). We're hoping that within the next 45 days we will have a decision from the NSTB judge, and from that perspective, we will know, have a definitive answer as to what's going to happen in this case.
What about all those other people who didn't tell the truth?
It's in his (Olmos) hands... We also had during that meeting representatives from Washington, DC observing and sitting at council table for the agency. And we hope and trust those individuals will do something with this information and bring some weight to bear to help Cory in this case.
Trust, but verify.

Comments
Mr. Muther is an excellent attorney - His representation of the honest truth and facts was outstanding. He did Cory supporters proud. Too bad their aren't more attorneys of his stature. Thank you for this article - not many Denver papers seem to write about the miscarriage of justice done to Cory Voorhis.
We need to keep the faith and continue to believe that the truth shall set us all free. Please continue your investigative reporting; you're good at exposing corruption and have the truth to back up your facts. Don't see much of that these days.
