Wrong Professsor Gates Eric Holder exempted black men from the law

Why, because I'm a black man in America?" Gates said, according to a police report written by Sgt. James Crowley.

Professor Gates, call Attorney General Eric Holder. He exempted some black men in America, the New Black Panther Party, from the law last month. You might want to call the New Black Panthers as well, perhaps to form a coalition. Your views on racial profiling seem to coincide.

... We want freedom for all Black Men and Black Women held in international, military, federal, state, county, city jails and prisons. We believe that all Black People and people of color should be released from the many jails and prisons because they have not received a fair and impartial trial.

President Obama foolishly jumped the discussion, recalling racial profiling incidents of his own and trash talking the police as stupid. Take it back. Their actions were stupid. How does he feel about night stick wielding New Black Panthers, in uniform, trying to intimidate poll workers, and talking trash like this.

one of the panthers turned toward the white poll observers and said "you are about to be ruled by the black man , cracker..."

Professor Gates, consider which is more dangerous, a rogue police officer, or New Black Panther patrols at polling sites, exempt from the law? If the New Black Panthers do break the law, Eric Holder created the post-behavior disavowal defense, no apology necessary.  Apologies seem important to you, Professor Gates. Would you be happy with a post-behavior disavowal?

You haven't heard about this special power granted the New Black Panthers?  It would seem to disprove your black man in America theory. Confident the main stream media will not report it, Eric Holder refuses to answer questions, even from Congressmen Wolf and Smith, who is on the House JudiciaryCommittee.

Holder is breaking the law, by the way. Add another incident to your list of black men exempt from the law. By law, Holder must answer the Congressmen's questions. Again,  he has refused.  Wonder why President Obama hasn't jumped this one yet?

Some black men are exempt from the law. New Black Panthers and Eric Holder. Rogue cops are equally scary, not equal under the law and not equally reported by the media...cracker.

Please stop being afraid of black men in power.

James: Thank you for taking the time to comment. However, I am puzzled. Is your intent to discredit me by implying I am afraid of black men in power? If not, specifically what have I said to give you that impression? Just because I do not believe in giving the New Black Panther party special entitlements, does not mean I am afraid of black men in power. Or any men (lol). And certainly I would not be afraid of my own cousin Obama (l0th generation removed cousin via our Dunham mothers), or poor Professor Gates, or even the cowardly Eric Holder, hiding behind his office and refusing (illegally) to answer questions while his boss touts transparency. fear no. Trepidation? perhaps. When a militant person of any ilk places himself between a polling place and me, He has gone too far.

When a president, whatever ilk, ignores the constitution and places "czars" in a position that can usurp the lawful execution of the law, he has gone too far.

It's not the amount of melanin in their skin, it's their actions.

Howie: Thanks again! We both understand the powerful, unchecked influence of anonymous bloggers who spend the entire day, whether financed by Soros or Progress Action Now (did you notice Boxer/Kerrys op-ed citing their research? infuriating), vainly attempting to discourage independents like me. They may as well waste their time on me, and I like the hits they bring to the site. Jan

Wade: Thank you for taking the time to comment and refer this poem:

set me free because I'm black
    I've been oppressed and that's a fact
although no scars are on my back
it must be so because I'm black

you called me n.... of that I'm sure
in fact that's why your at my door
    and I'll believe that evermore
    cause n.... a word that I abhor

and even if you forget to use it
I'll remind you, you abused it
because I'm black I must admit
because your white I must acquit

I hope you are not implying that I am (or ever have) engaging in racism or name calling. Opposing Eric Holder's secrecy and exemption of the New Black Panthers from the law is my issue. Henry Gates is wrong. Eric Holder and the New Blank Panthers have special rights, which would disprove Gate's claims. What concerns me is Holder's secrecy, and the Justice's Department empowerment of the New Black Panthers to patrol polling sites in uniform, with nightsticks, verbally abusing poll watchers. Jan

In a recent case before the Supreme Court one of the Justices stated that the best way to end racial discrimination is to stop discriminating. We are at that point, if Obama wants a "Post-Racial America" I suggest that he start right now. Otherwise he, and everyone else, has no complaint coming in the future...

Samaritan: Thank you for taking the time to comment. I agree with you. However, when I was election commissioner in Denver I was very surprised to encounter the overwhelming oppression the race industry established - back in l995. Initially, I was constantly disoriented. I worked for Governor Jimmy Carter, and knew many civil rights era figures as chatting office friends. That was in the l970's. By l995, an entire movement was both corrupted and entrenched. Anyone who opposed quotas, dismissed "white privilege" and noted that illegitimate births of 70% of black children might create issues was racist. Each time I opposed my fellow commissioners (liberal Dem activists), I was racist, and often I was not even allowed to speak at Commission meetings. The most obstructionist and racists were appointed, not elected. I believe this public dialog is important. It is the first time I have noticed any real counter to the race industry claims, which are often distorted. Hooray for new media! Jan
