Anyone for a rousing game of croquet?
Actually, the Succop Conservancy, an environmental and cultural education center for Butler County Community College is holding an event of Extreme Croquet. Croquet is a game using a wooden mallet to hit a wooden ball through a series of hoops in the grass. In this case, extreme croquet is different in that it is just played over a much larger area, making it a bit more difficult and interesting. Lunch and prizes are included with your team registration.
If you are looking for something different to do to celebrate this Father's Day, especially with an elderly father, this sounds like a very unique and fun thing to do and proceeds will benefit the Succop Conservancy. It's also a great way to get an older father out of the house and enjoy some fresh air, while doing an activity.
To register, or for more information call (724) 586-2591.

FYI: This event is at BUTLER County Community College, not Beaver.
Thank you for letting me know. The Post-Gazette article did have Butler, but I typed the wrong city. It is corrected now. Thanks again and thanks for reading!
