The journey has just began... you need to continue and follow your trail to be able to succeed fully in life!
This was the gist of Central County Occupational Center (CCOC) Director John Fox's speech to the 60 graduates of the San Jose Job Corps' GED and Career Technical Trade and John Muir High School as the graduation guest speaker.
The joint graduation was held at the CCOC Auditorium located at Hillsdale Avenue in San Jose early this evening (October 27, 2009).
"You were tested and you all passed. No person can take away what you already earned. You should be congratulated but don' t rest... you need to continue the journey," Fox stressed.
The GED graduates were introduced by Senior GED Instructor Denis Marks, Career Technical completers by CTT Manager Vins Chacko, and Muir graduates by Site Leader Bill Sprague with Center Director Alan Roberts, Deputy Center Director Leslie Gilroy, and Career Development Director Philip George distributing the diplomas.
Domanique Nichols delivered the graduation speech in behalf of the graduates while Academic Manager Joseph P. Harakal delivered the closing remarks.
