She is a United States National Tech&Learning Teacher of the Year and a Princeton University Distinguished Secondary School Educator. She has extensive global and national experiences and publications. She has keynoted in Singapore for APEC Conference’s Education Day, in Italy at the Bologna Children’s Book Fair for AEP (American Education Publishers), and throughout China and the United States. She is a former literature and writing teacher, who is a published writer, photographer, poet, and journalist.
