“… Similar to a Facebook for pre-teens, KidzRocket.com is poised to become the leader in children’s Internet safety providing a fun social networking chat, game and online activity site…”
Kidzrocket is a subscription-based social networking website for 9-12 year olds which provides a safer and more secure place for our young school age-children to socialize online. Pre-teens signing up must include their parent’s email address prior to gaining access to the KidzRocket.com social networking website. Your child cannot begin social networking until the Company has initiated parental contact, confirmed approval for the child’s membership and participation, and initiated a trial subscription using the parent’s credit card.
Parental involvement begins immediately as the pre-teen invites friends to his/her KidzRocket.com page to correspond with and chat. To avoid predators, cyber-bulling, and phishing scams, all invitees, buddies and friends their children communicate with on KidzRocket.com must be pre-approved by the child's parent.
If and when the pre-teen leaves KidzRocket.com to move around the Internet, each site they attempt to visit is subject to parental approval. Internet reports of their child’s online activities are easily generated using the free KidzRocket WebFilter, a real-time image composition analysis engine. Parents control and monitor pre-defined Internet privileges knowing which websites their children have attempted to access.
"Parents know exactly what's going on while their children have fun with friends online. Our proprietary cutting edge technology meets or exceeds current standards for Internet safety sites for children and pre-teens. From the website platform to the signup process, we have the safeguards in place to ensure children are communicating only with pre-approved friends and buddies and visiting only pre-approved sites,” states Myriam Cohen, President, BizRocket.com, Inc.
The timing of a social network geared specifically toward tweens is more important now than ever, as the findings from the third annual survey from Cox Communications and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children® (NCMEC) have found:
Teens are increasingly active online and at potential risk of falling prey to online predators.
A large majority of teens (71%) have already established online profiles.
69% of teens regularly receive personal messages online from people they don't know and most of them don't tell a trusted adult about it.
Teens readily post personal info online. 64% post photos or videos of themselves, while more than half (58%) post info about where they live. Females are far more likely than male teens to post personal photos or videos of themselves (70% vs. 58%).
Nearly one in 10 teens (8%) has posted his or her cell phone number online.
Overall, 19% of teens report they have been harassed or bullied online, and the incidence of online harassment is higher (23%) among 16 and 17 year-olds. Girls are more likely to be harassed or bullied than boys (21% vs. 17%).

Smart business model; I'm sure parents will appreciate this info. I wonder how much it costs?
Some of those statistics are downright scary. Thanks for letting parents know about this new site for kids.
That's a great social networking site for kids; much better and safer than Facebook.
