Selling surplus MLM products can be an excellent start in earning cash from eBay. To start selling on eBay , you need merchandise to sell. We will now help get you started by discussing some top selling items that you may have around the house.
Tupperware, Pampered Chef, Partylite Candles and Longaberger are just a few of the top MLM companies out there who sell primarily by the home party and/or catalog parties. You've probably been to a few of these home parties and it's likely you've purchased one or more items that are currently sitting in your closet, unused and unneeded.
Home party goods can be profitable on eBay. A recent eBay search for Longaberger, an Ohio-based basket company, brings up over 17,000 listed items. A search of Tupperware shows over 25,000 items. While brand new, unused products often sell for more money, there are buyers who will bid on used items in excellent condition. Retired items, such as a candle scent that is no longer produced, or a hard-to-find basket or kitchen utensil can attract bidders to eBay. When someone is looking for a retired item, eBay is typically the first stop. Most home party goods are listed in the Home & Garden or Collectibles category.
Perhaps you were a consultant for a company like Tupperware or Creative Memories (or one of the many others) and still have unsold items such as bags, samples and other items featuring the company logo. Do your homework to see if there are any listings for this type of merchandise. Often times, retired consultants will put all those items together as a "lot" to sell. This can be a great starting point for a new consultant who doesn't want to or can't afford to purchase these items new from the company. Don't forget to search the Completed Listings to see if any "lots" of these items have been listed and what the seller earned.
