Discontinued Mr. Clean Magic Reach refills sell for big profit on eBay

Discontinued items sell for big money on eBay.

Remember this product? Textured scrubbing pads that attach to a pointed scrubbing unit with a long handle for cleaning tubs and showers. Apparently this item was not popular enough to keep producing because it has been discontinued.

eBay sellers can make big money on this item, if they can find it. The regular retail price of the Mr. Clean Magic Reach tub and shower scrubbing pads was $4.25 per 8 pad package. eBay listings for this product are selling for around $24 per 8 pad package.

Click here to see current listings on Amazon and check out the starting prices. The 8 refill pad pack starts at $46.95 on Amazon.

Look for this product at Big Lots, Home Depot, Lowes, small independent hardware stores, flea markets, garage sales, and anywhere cleaning supplies are sold. Don't forget to look in your garage or basement in  case you have some stashed away!

Discontinued consumer goods can bring big profits on eBay, as demonstrated by this one product.. Consumers know what they like, and as the supply of an item gets smaller, the price gets higher - this is just simple economics. Timing is everything when selling discontinued items on eBay. Well.I wondered why I couldn't find refill pads anywhere. The Magic Reach is a cleaning tool that I actually used and was very pleased with the results. There was enough "soap" in the pad to re-use the pad at least twice, I discovered. Hope I can find a cache somewhere so I can stock up!!

I emailed Proctor & Gamble and they replied back saying that the Magic Reach product was licensed to Butler Home Products. I just ordered 2 boxes at $5.99 each with $3.99 shipping! Their website is cleanerhomeliving.com

I for one am very upset that this product was discontinued. How can we fix this? Butler Home Products is only the distributor. How can we get Mr. Clean to start production again?

I am so very dissapointed that this product was discontinued. It was a fantastic cleaning scrubber for the bathrooms and also my kitchen floor has a pitted lanoelumin{spelling} and this is the only product that gets it really clean. .I have looked everywhere for the refills and I can't find them anywhere. If I can order them from this web site, that would be fantastic. Thanks!

Butler cleaning products carry these pads and starter kits. They told me they will be back in stores, however I have yet to see them. You can purchase the refill pads for $5.99 + shipping. I hate shipping charges and have held off so far, but at least there is a source for this product. Best Wishes!

I just read the other comments...ha ha they are already on it. I'm still going to find out if they will be sold in stores. I was told that they will be. We shall see.

Also don't get them at ACE as commented above. Online a box of 8 pads is over $50.00!!!!!!!!!!! Are they nuts?
