To celebrate the Wizard of Oz's 70th anniversary, theaters across the U.S. (440 theaters to be exact) will be showing a digitally remastered, high-def version of the classic movie, introducing a new generation of children to this timeless film.
The special showing will include an introduction by Robert Osborne, a movie historian, as well as outtakes from the original film, behind the scenes footage, and interviews with some of Oz's munchkins.
The movie will be shown on September 23 at 7:00 pm local time.
