Moms and dads know it's not often that a pure kids movie is also an action film. But that's the case with G-Force. This rodent-starring movie is all about the stunts and the effects... and its really fun. Not a surprise being it was produced by action-centric Jerry Bruckheimer... who brought along the voice talents of Nicolas Cage, plus Sam Rockwell, Jon Favreau, Penelope Cruz, Tracy Morgan, Steve Buscemi. Actors Bill Nighy, Will Arnett and Zak Galifianakis also star.
The soundtrack is a favorite of my 2 and almost 4 year olds, with their fav Black Eyed Peas grooves and other cool songs. The music videos on the Blu-ray in the bonus features were a big hit with them as well. The music really made the movie for them. My four year old laughed a lot in this one, at little jokes and fur-flying stunts.
Overall, G-Force is fun and enjoyable but not a must have for the video collection. I'd rent it first to see if the kiddos like it. Here's a look at the G-Force trailer and some bonus features:
