Mickey Mouse has fans of all ages! He's the classic symbol of imagination. Mickey has been my friend since I first went to Disney World in 1980 and like many other moms, he's now friends with my kids. You really can't go wrong with a gift of Mickey and friends this (or any) gift giving season if your family is like my family. Here's a look at some unique Disney toys featuring Mickey Mouse and other cool stuff for kids of all ages on your list...
Hot Dog Dancer Mickey Mouse by Fisher Price will bring a smile to the faces of little ones when they unwrap this present. Fans of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse will recognize the catchy Hot Dog Dance tune that Mickey dances to. You'll love playing with this one with your tots! He's the funnest Mickey around and he's brand new to toy stores this season.
The Mickey Tasty Baker serves up Mickey and all his friends any time of the day. You can make cookies, muffins, pancakes, waffles, brownies, even Mickey, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, Minnie and Pluto donuts in the Tasty Baker. They bake super fast and the characters really come out looking like they're supposed to. You can even see facial details when you bake them the right length of time. It took me about one batch to figure out perfect timing. You can win this baker this week! Just subscribe to this column by clicking the subscribe button above. Then write a comment below saying who you're going to make treats for with the Tasty Baker. At 10am ET on Friday 11/27/09. I'll draw a winner out of a hat. I'll put the winner's name at the bottom of this story in the comments section and he/she will have until Monday 11/30/09 to email me their contact info.

The Mickey ears bathrobe is super cute with the right amount of snuggle. It comes in Minnie too and is personalizable with your child's name. I bought the Minnie version for my Minnie-loving daughter's second birthday. She was thrilled beyond belief. It has washed nicely, which I like. And as an added bonus: right now they're on sale for just $10 at disneystore.com! You have to pay extra for personalization though.
Allergen-Free Mickey Mouse and friends plush toys are a must have for families who love Disney. No matter if your child has allergies or not, this toy is a great bet for their first Mickey. Each one is certified asthma & allergy friendly. This is a great first snuggly and is safe for baby to use as a teether toy too. And it's completely machine washable! Note: this line of Mickey toys has blue-ish tones to his black parts.
For fans of trains and Mickey, Mickey's Choo Choo Express by Fisher Price is a sure winner. This train works two different ways. In the first mode, it goes around a track while singing and talking. In the second "magic" mode, the train picks up and lays down the tracks as it goes across the floor. It's just like in the new movie Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Choo-Choo Express, which is a great idea to pair with this toy. Watch a video of the train in action HERE. It comes with the train, a train car, engineer Mickey, the track and the stop and go signs.
Wild Planet Mickey Mouse-ke-tag is a fun way to burn off energy and get the whole family running around playing together. It's best for kids 3 and up. Kids can learn colors and letters plus following directions and improve their coordination all while playing. You can play indoors on cold days or outside across the whole yard on nice days. Watch a video of it in action HERE.
