Every day until Christmas, I'm going to be counting down with a digital advent calendar. That just means each day I'll feature something Christmas-y for the kids like music or a good deed for the day to share the spirit of Christmas or a craft project or the likes.
December 12...13 more days to go. Today it's all about Christmas music. Here's a look at some of the best Christmas CDs:
- A Very Special Christmas Vol 1-3 collection is a set of volumes 1-3 of these fantastic Christmas songs brought to life all over again by popular singers from Madonna to Bruce Springsteen, Run DMC to Bob Dylan. One hundred percent of the proceeds of the A Very Special Christmas sales directly support innovative training initiatives that encourage growth and provide creative ways to advance the Special Olympics movement around the world. You can download song individually too from these albums from amazon.com.
- Jazz to the World is another must have in your Christmas music collection. It's filled with classics at a nice relaxing pace. My girls also love these.
- Babies Go Christmas is a collection of INSTRUMENTAL versions of Christmas classics all designed for the enjoyment of little ones. This is great background music for while you're doing Christmas crafts and cookies with the kiddos.
If you'd rather just listen online for free, check out my Free Christmas Music story.
I've put together over two dozen gift guides to help you find the perfect gifts this holiday season. I'm breaking down the categories to suit children's personalities from bug lovers to little scientists, artists and more. I also have gift guides for new parents, moms, dad, and grandparents. You can see all of those HERE all season long. Be sure to check back as there's lots more to come.
