September 7, 2010 DVD & Blu-ray: Supernatural: The Complete Fifth Season [sneak peak Season Six]

In Supernatural: The Complete Fifth Season, the Apocalypse is coming and Lucifer must be stopped. At the point of no return, brothers Dean and Sam Winchester, Bobby and fallen angel Castiel must continue forth together, despite the many hurdles they encounter along the way and the wrath of Hell. Defying destiny to stop from becoming Michael and Lucifer's vessels, the Winchester brothers, crisscrossing in their '67 Chevy Impala, must battle both angels and demons, including a new enemy the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. What will it cost to kill the Devil and can their strongest ally God help them?

Supernatural: Season Six will premiere on the CW on September 24 , 2010, 9/8c.

Episodes:

Episode #1: "Sympathy for the Devil" - Sam, Dean, and Bobby must deal with the aftermath of the Devil's escape from Hell, and receive startling news from the Prophet Chuck.

Episode #2: "Good God, Y'all" - Hunter Rufus Turner calls in Bobby, Sam, and Dean to deal with a demon infestation in his town, but they soon discover the truth is much more horrifying. Meanwhile, Castiel goes to seek the only entity that can defeat Lucifer.

Episode #3: "Free to Be You and Me" - Sam decides to stop hunting but has a hard time after he receives a surprise visit. Dean and Castiel try to find the Archangel Raphael in their bid to stop the Apocalypse.

Episode #4: "The End" - Dean refuses Sam's efforts to help him battle the Devil, and then wakes up to find himself five years in the future, in a wasteland where Lucifer has begun his endgame by unleashing a virus that transforms humans into zombies.

Episode #5: "Fallen Idols" - Sam and Dean head to a small town where people are murdered by famous dead icons. However the brothers come to a dead end when two teenagers reveal they saw Paris Hilton kidnap their friend.

Episode #6: "I Believe the Children Are Our Future" - Sam and Dean investigate reports of fairy tales come to life and find the young boy who is responsible, and has a power to create real creatures from fantasy. However, the brothers disagree when Castiel tells them to kill the boy because of the power he possesses.

Episode #7: "The Curious Case of Dean Winchester" - Bobby risks his life by betting 25 years of his life on a poker game run by a witch. Dean tries to save Bobby but ends up drastically aging.

Episode #8: "Changing Channels" - Dean and Sam find themselves mystically trapped in a series of real-life "TV shows" and there appears to be no escape. They believe their old enemy the Trickster is responsible, but discover someone or something else is involved.

Episode #9: "The Real Ghostbusters" - Sam and Dean are tricked into attending a Supernatural convention by their super-fan Becky. Sam and Dean are in for a shock when many of the fans are dressed up like them.

Episode #10: "Abandon All Hope..." - Sam, Dean, and Castiel find the Colt and go after Lucifer. The hunters reunite with Bobby to battle evil that could be potentially their last fight.

Episode #11: "Sam, Interrupted" - The brothers must go undercover as patients at a mental hospital to get at a monster, but soon discover they have some mental issues of their own to deal with.

Episode #12: "Swap Meat" - While the brothers are on a case, Sam is targeted by a high school student who has learned a body-switching spell. Dean discovers his brother is now more interested in getting drunk and hitting on women, while Sam has to deal with the teenager's home and school life.

Episode #13: "The Song Remains the Same" - To prevent the Apocalypse before it ever starts, Anna travels through time to kill Sam's parents before they conceive him.

Episode #14: "My Bloody Valentine" - The brothers take on Cupid when the people of a small town start killing each other in the name of love. However, they soon discover that a greater power is responsible.

Episode #15: "Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid" - The brothers investigate when the dead come to life in Bobby's hometown... but are happy, content, and living peacefully with their families. Bobby is reunited with his dead wife and tells them not to worry, but Sam and Dean insist on staying and discover that the zombies have an ulterior motive.

Episode #16: "Dark Side of the Moon" - When Sam and Dean are killed by hunters, they end up in Heaven. They discover they must find Joshua, an angel who speaks directly with God, before Zachariah can find them.

Episode #17: "99 Problems" - A minister's daughter turns a town full of citizens ready to fight the Apocalypse against each other.

Episode #18: "Point of No Return" - Dean considers giving up and giving in, but Zachariah comes up with a new strategy against Lucifer that means they no longer need Dean as Michael's vessel. However, the consequences will cause even greater destruction, and the Winchesters and Castiel must stop Zachariah before it's too late.

Episode #19: "Hammer of the Gods" - A group of gods abduct the Winchesters and try to use them to bargain with the angels to stop the Apocalypse. However, when Gabriel arrives to warn them, one of the gods betrays the others to Lucifer.

Episode #20: "The Devil You Know" - To save humanity and demonkind alike, Crowley offers to help the Winchesters find Pestilence so they can get his ring. Dean must learn to trust Sam when Crowley reveals Sam has history with the Four Horseman's demon "Stable Boy."

Episode #21: "Two Minutes to Midnight" - Bobby sells his soul to Crowley in return for the location of Death. Meanwhile, Castiel must intervene when Pestilence infects the Winchesters with a deadly disease, and Dean makes a deal with Death.

Episode #22: "Swan Song" - To stop the Apocalypse, Dean and Sam have no choice but to make decisions that will change their lives forever... and cost them everything they hold dear.
