From the director of Bronson and Valhalla Rising comes the high-octane Academy Award-nominated action drama film Drive starring Ryan Gosling, Carey Mulligan, Bryan Cranston, Albert Brooks and Ron Perlman. Adapted from the 2005 James Sallis novel of the same name, the film is about a Hollywood stunt driver who moonlights as a highly skilled getaway driver for criminals. A loner by nature, he works anonymously and never for the same people twice. His detached world crumbles when he falls in love with his beautiful neighbor Irene. Everything is well until her ex-convict husband returns and endangers her and her son because he owes protection money. The Driver offers to handle the wheel for a heist to help them out, but the heist goes wrong and all hell breaks loose. With a syndicate of underworld criminals now after him, he must shift gears and go on the offense to protect the woman he loves.
