Tonight the shameful response given by the President to the Fort Hood shooting really confirmed something that I had been suspecting for awhile. It is difficult to imagine the President is so insensitive as to not care about a massacre of our troops by one of their own - that would require an impossible level of depravity. One must simply come to the conclusion that the man must be dumb.
Of course no one thinks he's dumb because well, the media tells us he is smart, he is a great public speaker, hes young, good looking, seems friendly, and always has that wonderful air of confidence about him. There is no question that Barack Obama comes across as intelligent, but what has he done?
After graduating college Obama became a community organizer for a time before being accepted to Harvard. Obviously graduating from Harvard and becoming president of the Harvard Law Review are two great accomplishments indicating Obama is intelligent, but it doesn't necessarily mean He has to be a genius. Also note that around this time Obama decides it is time to wrote an autobiography but of course He has no ego.
Four years later Obama runs for Illinois Senate and wins by knocking his opponent Alice Palmer out of the race through a petition challenge. This was Chicago hardball politics at its finest- take out your opponent before you have to beat them in a real campaign.
Obama served 3 terms in the state senate from 1997-2004 then ran for the United States Senate. Obama won handily after his opponent went down yet again - this time due to sex scandals. By then Republicans had put up Alan Keys as a hasty replacement at the last minute but it was too late for them to have any real chance of winning and Obama walked away with it.
On January 4, 2005 Barack Obama is sworn in as a U.S. Senator and after accomplishing next to nothing Obama decides to turn things up a notch. Just two years, one month, and four days later Barack Obama decides it is time to run for President of the United States of America. The rest as they say is history.
When you look at the facts of Barack Obama's history there isn't much outside of academic achievement. He didn't accomplish much in the senate as he resigned early after becoming President and spent the vast majority of his time (over 90%) away from the Senate during the long campaign.
The question remains- why do we think He is so smart? More and more I look at his actions as president and during the campaign and must conclude He is not smart, but dumb, angry, and egotistical.
The debacle with Henry Gates highlights the angry and the dumb of Barack Obama. Angry because He immediately assumed that since the cop was white and the "victim" black that the cops must have "acted stupidly", dumb because a 12 year old could realize that was a bad move politically.
Another example of the angry side of Obama comes in his willingness to participate in a church where several angry racist preachers performed on a weekly basis. No one involves themselves with a church like that unless they believe what is being said- this might not necessarily fall under the category of dumb but it definitely falls under angry.
In a more recent example we have Obama rushing out to Copenhagen to attach himself to the Olympic bid. In a display of pure unadulterated arrogance Obama and his wife pounded the committee with self pity - Obama seriously alluding to the idea that the Olympics should be held in Chicago so they would be near his home, and Michelle waxing on eloquently about her family problems. Here is where their ego's are made flagrantly obvious as they both honestly thought that they would simply be so charming and wonderful that the entire world would literally just vote for them - thankfully for Chicago the world isn't as stupid as much of America was in 2008. This wasn't just egotistical- it was also pretty stupid. Obama took a major hit on the worldwide stage and a smart person simply doesn't put themselves in that situation. The vote wasn't even close, with Chicago going out in the first round before even the joke bid of Tokyo.
Obama's most recent bout of stupidity occurred a few days ago with the campaign blitz for Governor Corzine of New Jersey. Corzine is hated so much that not even Obama could get him elected, and in a deeply blue state to boot. Again Obama should know better than to put his neck on the line for something like this and ultimately he made a fool of himself when Corzine lost.
Basically it is getting to the point where people need to start realizing that maybe Obama isn't the all knowing savior of the world. He is a politician, educated in the halls of the Ivy league, but a politician nonetheless. Look at the facts and Barack Obama starts to look buffoonish to the point of being Bush-like.

Obama had been prepared and informed about the massacre at Fort Hood before he began to speak. He should have put everything else to the side and started the speech off on a solmen and graceful tone, informing America of all that he was privy to about the massacre at Fort Hood, and then end it solemnly and with grace as soon as he was done informing America. The Native Americans there would have understood. Obama did not do that. He was whooping it up and giving a shout out to a man whom he said had won the CMOH, but instead had not won that honor. Full-length Youtube videos show this. Obama has no class. He is a disgrace to America.
I think they are both dumb. We need real leadership in this Country. We have not had a real leader since Reagan. Our Nation has been taken over by Marxists, Socialists and Communists and is being destroyed before out eyes. God help us!
Joe Medicine Crow' s name is not listed as a recipient of the Congressional Medal of Honor. Obama gave a shout out to Crow, the man that Obama said had won the award. Crow won the Medal of Freedom.

Aaron: You are woefully ignorant on the Katrina circumstances. Aid from the feds has to be requested by the state (Louisiana in this case). The fault for the delay lies squarely on the governor of that state and the mayor of New Orleans who incidentally failed to evacuate the city in a timely and efficient manner. I'm noting that when African Americans point-out what they consider racial situations, they in turn are being CALLED racists for simply pointing-out what they feel is unfair treatment. There just appears to be a big (communication-gap) between the two races.

I recall a story on CNN asking if white racism was responsible for 61 percent of the white vote going to Mccain. Never saw a story asking if 95 percent of the black vote going to Obama was racism.

On 9-11 George Bush couldn't jump up and panic when told of the attacks.... he was in front of a room full of children. But, you could see on his face he was concerned. Obama is a pathetic person and by far the worst president this country has ever seen.... by far. He couldn't carry Bush's jock-strap as bad as Bush was.

Sorry Mark2 but I've heard far too many Republicans complain that Obama will not meet with them and does not want their input. Publicly declaring that he is open to meeting with Republicans and making it happen in reality are too different things. This is called "political cover".
