Animal ID #A701573

Hello! My name is RUBY - ID#A701573

I am a Cairn Terrier mix.
Sex: Female
Color: GRAY
Age: 4 years (Approx)
Sprayed/Neutered: Yes

Hi, I'm Ruby and I'm a Special Needs Dogs, although you won’t have to do a whole lot extra. to take care of me. It’s just that I havea small left eye and eye opening. The pink appearance is due to conjuctiva (tissue around the eye) covering the eye. This may be a congenital defect. I may have had previous infection or trauma to the eye. Sorry, I can’t tell you. But regardless of the cause, I don’t need treatment at this time although I may never have vision in that eye. If you come and spend some time with me, I think that you will fall in love and won't want to leave here without me. Please come visit me soon at the SJACS.

NOTES:

>Both shelters are in need of old newspaper, blankets and towels. Please just drop
them off at their front door at any time.

>The shelters are filled to capacity! They are also seeking kind persons with room in their hearts and homes to become Foster Pet Parents. Could that be you? Give them a call! Or consider becoming a Volunteer. Caring Hands are desperately needed!

Special Notice: Due to the new setup of the Examiner, I can no longer combine the San Jose Animal Care and Services notice with the Humane Society Silicon Valley notice ( We are now limited to ONE photo per article and I felt each dog deserves their own photo - how about you?)

Anyway, to see the other Friday Find-A-Friend for this week , please go to my main page listing.

As Always, please drop me a line when you adopt one of the wonderful dogs.
We all love happy endings!
