So you think you can dance … with your dog?
A popular, growing trend in dog obedience is "canine freestyle." Using basic and modified commands, owners perform choreographed routines with their dogs—all set to music.
Canine freestyle trainer Jill Stuart will present a canine freestyle demonstration and discussion on Sunday, Jan. 10 at Tails R' Waggin (6976 W. 152nd Ter., Overland Park). Stuart is coordinator of Rhythm Rovers.
The canine freestyle demo starts at 2 p.m. If you're attending, leave your own dog at home.
