Unique pottery for your dog by Chowtime Productions (with slideshow)

Are you looking for a special present for your dog? Chowtime Productions creates original pottery for dogs (and cats too), so why not treat your best friend to a personalized dog frame or doggy bowl?

The Pottery by Alyson Whitney

Alyson Whitney, a greater Houston-based artist who studied in Italy, makes unique dog bowls, dog treat jars, dog photo frames, and pet urns. And each dog bowl can have a matching dog treat jar that will be the perfect accompaniment to your kitchen.

Whitney makes her pottery dishwasher and microwave safe; however, Whitney suggests hand-washing these items to prolong their life.

The Glazing Process

Each piece is also glazed with lead-free glaze and is therefore safe for pets. The pottery is hand-painted, and each color is applied a minimum of three times to create the strong colors that are Chowtime Production’s signature look. After painted, the pottery is bisque-fired in the kiln, glazed, and fired a second time.

The best part about pottery for your dog is that his piece will be unique because no two pieces are alike. The dog bowls and treat jars are available in two different sizes; and some of the pet urns are available in several sizes as well.

Orders
Shipping is free. Orders take between 7-10 days to produce and shipping takes between 3-5 days.

I sell her pottery at my shop, GoFetchGifts.com. Last year for Mother's Day, People Magazine's Pets web site found her stuff on my site and featured us in a Mother's Day gift giving article. Very cute stuff!

I've noticed most of the "pretty" pet food bowls are rather delicate and not dishwasher safe. I appreciate that her products are dishwasher safe! I hand wash a lot of my dishware and utensils b/c they last much longer, but having the option is a major time saver.

That dog treat jar will be finding a home with a friend of mine, methinks. And I love that they're sturdy enough for the dishwasher.
