Fox 45 Baltimore reports that a pit bull puppy, approximately 8 weeks old, was beaten to death this past Saturday.
Golfers at Baltimore’s Carroll Park Golf Course saw three kids beating the puppy. They chased the children away and tried rushing the puppy to a nearby vet. Sadly, the dog died on the way. The golfers called Animal Control, now investigating the incident along with BARCS.
Police believe the puppy was beaten with stick. Anyone with any information is asked to call Baltimore City Police at 410-276-8888 or Animal Control at 410-396-4688.
This incident comes only days after a pit bull mix was attacked by a machete-weilding man in North Baltimore ("Catonsville veterinary clinic treats dog maimed by Baltimore man"). On Easter Sunday, a pit bull was brutally attacked by kids with bricks and stones ("Reward offered in Baltimore dog abuse case"). These crimes leaves people wondering if the Mayor's Anti-Animal Abuse Task Force has any bite.

Heartbreaking. Can't believe people do these kinds of things.
These kids need attention now; they are not the type to grow up and be presidents of the rotary club, but more likely to grow up abusing children. Google atcvstf, animal cruelty child abuse for realted information
Great article!!
This unspeakable act of cruelty disgusts me beyond belief. Baltimore needs to step up to the plate and deal a LOT more harshly with anyone who would do something like this to ANY animal. Animal abusers rarely stop there...
"wondering if the task force has any bite?" The task force has made great recommendations to the mayor, to law enforcement... none of it has been acted upon! I'm not sure this new mayor even cares about the animal situation.
I hope these little suckers that hurt this poor defenseless puppy go to the electric chair. Poor puppy... :(
This is such a sad story. The kids and the parents need their asses BEAT!!! There are hot spots in hell for people that abuse animals.
These are not Children but sick slime balls.. help? Behind bars maybe.. Kids need attention now.. give it up will you, show them the stick!!!
Were these little shits brought to justice?
Got something to say?
