It is springtime in Baltimore, which means the inevitable return of the thunderstorm. For many dog owners, this is a time of stress as the family dog dives for cover, chewing through door frames and trembling in fright.
Thunder fright is not a simple matter and to complicate things more, some dogs are afraid of the sound of the thunder, and others are afraid of the barometric pressure changes that occur with the storm. Often the two are connected and while loud noise training may work, the barometric pressure triggers a fear response all over again.
