Born and raised in Connecticut, Art Heberger writes how-to articles and guides on automotive repair and craft topics, including many for eHow and Helium, drawing from his 20 years of experience in the automotive field as a wrecker operator, auto tech, and service advisor. Heberger is a National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certified automotive technician and Hunter Engineering certified alignment technician. Heberger received his automotive training at Technical Careers Institute in West Haven, CT. and Hunter Engineering in Springfield, Mass.
Heberger enjoys working with Scouts. He has been a Cub Scout Leader, Boy Scout Leader, Merit Badge Counselor, and Cub Scout Leader Trainer since his son joined in 2003. He has also written several activity badge guides for Cub Scout Leaders.
