The polls have been open for one week, and the Dixie Derby Girls roller derby skaters have been campaigning hard to earn fan votes in the 2010 Dixie Derby Girls People's Choice awards.
In the unofficial poll standings (tallied through Sunday, November 7th), there are a total of 426 registered votes. Bama Brewser is your poll leader, securing 92 votes (21.6%). In second place, there is a tie between eRacer X and M'Shell O'bomb-Her, each securing 59 votes (13.8%). Asian Invasion comes in at #3 with 42 votes (9.9%). A battle for forth place is locked up between Pinky Tuscadero and Lola Piranha, each with 30 votes (7%). Rounding out the top ten are Therapissed, Minnie Militia, Pain Russell, and The Last Nicolicorn.

Any skater who played in the 2010 season is eligible for nomination. Its not too late to cast your vote, simply visit: http://www.dixiederbygirls.com/rb4.htm . Enter your email and select your favorite skater. Only one vote per email is accepted, so choose accordingly. Polls will close November 30th, 2010.
After November 30th, the skater with the most votes will be declared the winner. The award will be presented at the year end gala, Rollerball 4 on December 4th, 2010. Fans are all invited to Rollerball 4, an evening of awards, silent auction, food, drink, and dancing. One lucky voter will win 2 free tickets to the event (a $20 value) just by voting.
