The language of the law, to the uninitiated, can be overwhelming, confusing and misunderstood. To those of us who have made the study and practice of law the focus of their lives, the law is the key to civility and security, the glue that holds our community, and society at large, together. I am passionate about what I do and I enjoy writing about a variety of legal issues so that people will be properly armed with the knowledge to make the best decisions. I have a law degree from Loyola University Chicago and a Masters of Law from Temple University. I represent people from all walks of life in my practice: entrepreneurs, doctors, lawyers, entertainers, journalists, laborers, stay-at-home moms, business professionals and artists, to name a few. I aim for entertaining and thoughtful writing on a variety of useful topics and I like to distill the legal principles down to points and examples that people can understand.
