With Christmas fast approaching, the Magic Kingdom of Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure has been transformed into a winter wonderland. Whether you’re a fan of parades or the classic attractions, there is something for you.
Chevy Chase's Clark Griswold has nothing on Disneyland as they pull out all the watts when they transform "it's a small world" into a Holiday treat for all ages. With over 50,000 lights using 350,000 watts of power, one cannot help but smile when they see wonder of it all. Each evening, every quarter hour, Sylvania presents a multi-media show on the facade´ of "it's a small world" that is sure to please all who see it.
The Haunted Mansion is also dressed to impress. Back in October the Mansion was taken over by Tim Burton's Nightmare Before Christmas’ ghoulish characters. The Haunted Mansion Holiday promises to deliver holiday hijinks until the New Year.
50,000 lights are used to turn Sleeping Beauty’s Castle into its winter beauty. Icicles, snow and glistening lights are just a few examples of the treats in store for guests at the iconic Disneyland Sleepy Beauty’s Castle.
Did someone see snow in Anaheim? If you did, it’s probably on Disneyland’s Main Street USA. Each night after lighting the Christmas tree and Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle, Disney treats it’s guest to a little Disney magic when it snows on Main Street.
A Christmas Fantasy Parade is marching its way into the hearts of guests this winter featuring marching toys, snowflakes, Disney characters and the jolly old man himself, Santa Claus. The Holiday season also welcomes back the famous Disney’s Electrical Parade at Disney’s California Adventure. And don’t forget the fireworks as Disneyland presents: Believe in Holiday Magic Fireworks.
With all this and more, the Disneyland Resort is full of holiday cheer for all ages.
