Saying goodbye to one member of the Disney-verse podcasts.

All About the Mouse Disney Podcast

My Disney community got a little smaller last week, when I found out that co-hosts Bryan Ripper and Jonathan Dicther, of the All About the Mouse Disney Podcast had decided to end the podcast on June 30th.

In a short time, just three years, “the magic and the mayhem,” established themselves as one of the favorite Disney podcasts many listeners enjoyed.

In what they dubbed their “series finale,” Bryan and Jonathan explained how difficult it was for them to reach this decision. They explained that there was no professional falling out or lack of Disney love. It was just the demands for a better work-life balance, and they decided to go out while in a good place.

Many Disney community voices called into to wish both Bryan and Jonathan well, including Paige O’Hara (Beauty from Beauty and the Beast fame), who said that they had “made so many people happy,” and that they “made a difference in so many lives”. Disney Podcast community luminaries Lou Mongello, Mike Scopa, Matt Hochberg and Paul Berrie all left heart felt messages for them.

We all have make difficult decisions, but Bryan and Jonathan knew it was right one to make.

Walt Disney’s nephew, Roy Disney once said that “It’s not hard to make decisions when you know what your values are.” Not only did they understand Disney, but they also understood what was best for them both.

I will miss hearing their love and enthusiasm for Disney, but I would like to thank them for all the great moments, great music, and the magic and mayhem.
