Where are you dining for Baltimore Restaurant Week?

Before I forget, and I do so often at this age, Baltimore restaurateurs participating in Restaurant week, are you extending the promotion beyond the first week(Friday, August 7th to Sunday, August 16th)? If so, will you reach out to me so I can put a list together for restaurant goers? The website for Baltimore Restaurant Week is not defining any extensions at this time. I know for a fact, my client, Sotto Sopra, is extending the Restaurant Week promotion for dinner through Friday, August 21st. There are usually other restaurants that do so but the details usually become available too late to make the proper plans. Restaurateurs please reach out to me at restaurantweek@diningdish.otherinbox.com.

Back on point

What have been your choices for restaurant week? Are you going back to the same restaurants or trying new ones? Have you had good experiences at a restaurant and gone back? What can the city do to improve upon this promotion?

My personal frustration is that the menus are not up on the website for a good number of the places, hence I just don’t go there. I find some restaurants offer you a limited selection that really doesn’t define what they normally offer that they can't be reaping the rewards.

The husband and I have chosen three places; two we’ve been back to during previous Restaurant Week promotions and one is a new location.Times are tough and I hope Baltimore supports the restaurants like they have during previous Restaurant Weeks.

The format of the restaurant week website is terrible. It's confusing and basically, I ended up making a reservation @ fogo de chao for my husband's bday dinner on saturday only to be told they weren't participating in restaurant week for the weekend, only at lunch. So I ended up dropping $265 on a dinner that should have been $150 at most. I felt tricked. Cheated. And there's no way to complain to the Restaurant week people. So they'll surely do it this way next year.
