A very clever website called EggWatchers calculates how long it will take to boil an egg. It asks you questions. Want to boil an egg? Do you want it soft boiled, squigley or firm? Is it a small, medium, large or extra large egg? Is it just out of the fridge or more room temp? Once it takes in all the facts it calculates the time to boil the egg and then pops up a video to entertain you for the exact length of time it takes to boil your egg. I’ve done various combinations as to large, small, firm, just out of the fridge and watched a claymation story on vampires, Buddy Rich on a drum solo to an amazing video of wilder beast saving their young from lions.
I’m not sure if anyone watches while they are actually boiling the egg but I’m sure there are at least ½ dozen folks enjoying the Mocha Latte at Starbucks watching on their IPhones. Don’t you love the internet? So go to play with EggWatchers HERE.
