I haven’t had coffee in forty years but last week I tasted an Iced Latte Mocha Swirl from Dunkin Donuts. My first and only cup of coffee up until this past week was back in the college days. It was more a cup of cream and sugar with a hint of coffee.
The Dunkin Donuts people invited a select group of Baltimore media folks together to sample their extensive line of beverages: frozen cappucinos which are a new permanent addition, Coolatta® their signature frozen beverage, iced latte, iced coffee which is double brewed and ice tea. Now they are inviting YOU to one of four regional Dunkin Donuts to enjoy FREE samples of the vast array of flavors both full calorie and light.

It was a fun morning with the gaggle of gals that public relations maven, Edie Brown, put together. Downtown Diane Macklin wanted to take the Dunkin Donuts double D door handles from the store though with my alias, Dining Dish, it would be a double d duel. Celeste Corsaro of Baltimore Eats and Patti Neuman of Citypeek enjoyed the beverages as well as the egg white flatbread sandwiches from the DDSmart menu. Not on the Smart Menu but tasty were the home fries – Downtown Diane said they reminded her of potato latkes.

I cannot believe I went to Dunkin Donuts in Baltimore and had a healthy meal and no donuts. Lots of yummy coffee options.
